Since we created the Markley Special Edition Cherry snare drums, they have easily become one of our most popular models. The shell is 100% All-Cherry, and is 10-ply construction with cherry reinforcing rings. Markley Special Edition Cherry snare drums speak with power and authority. The Special Cherry has an awesome woody "crack" and a bright, yet full-bodied tone. Plenty of sizzle is provided by the sensitive 42-strand snare unit that is standard equipment.
