Markley Retro Maple Series drums utilize retro-style 6-ply shells made with maple inner and outer plies, a poplar core, and maple reinforcing rings, creating a sound similar to classic 60's-era Ludwigs. Markley Retro Maple Series drums deliver a classic sound with all the reliability and convenience of a completely modern drumkit.
For example, Markley Retro Maple Series drums can be outfitted with modern hardware like our Markley Solid Tension™ lugs and Reson-X™ Tom Suspension System, or you can go completely retro with our available vintage reproduction hardware at no additional charge. Traditional sizes, including 14" deep bass drums, shallower toms, and square-size floor toms, round out the retro look of these kits. Available in Traditional sizes only. |
